What are the types of pipeline

The designed pipes used to connect the pipe to the tube thread are called the connector. Designed to connect one tube to another pipe part of the pipes as the connector:

If the tube connectors connect the pipes of different sizes instead of the same size, it is called a different diameter tube joint.

A variant of the pipe joint and joint theme is a partition accessory. The partition accessories are designed to install holes in the panel or shell, so as to provide a way to pass through the wall of the panel or shell for the fluid pipeline. In essence, the only difference between the partition connector and the ordinary connector is the additional length of the connector and the special nut used to lock the connector into the hole. The following figure shows three types of partition accessories:

The elbow is a pipe joint with a elbow. These are useful for turning in pipeline operation without having to bend the pipeline itself. Like the standard connector, they can terminate the pipe thread, the mother tube thread or another tube end:

The elbows displayed in the figure above are 90 degrees, but this is not the only available angle. The 45 -degree elbow is also very common.

The three -way joint connects the three fluid pipelines together. There may be one pipe end and two pipe end (branch three and three links), or three pipe end (combined three links). The only difference between the branch of the branch and the operation of the three links is the direction of the two pipe end:

Special pipe joints are used to terminate the pipe connection, so they are sealed instead of opening. The components designed for the opening of the sealing pipe joints are called plugs, and the parts designed for sealing the opening pipe end are called lids:

Compressed pipe accessories
The compressed accessories are used to connect a tube to another tube, or connect to a thin -walled tube, or connect to a device (such as instrument). The compressed pipe connector consists of three parts: subject, set and nut. Some compressed joints use two types of sleeve components, as shown in the figure below,

Before the assembly, we saw how the nut will cover the component and push them into the cone entry of the main body of the joint:

After the nuts are tightened correctly, the cover will be compressed to the outer circle of the tube. In the process, the tube is slightly curled, so as to lock the ring in place:
