How to choose the right thermocouple for your application?

● To choose the ideal thermocouple, you first need to understand the needs and requirements of the measurement application.
● Factors affecting temperature changes
● Accuracy Requirements -The effect of sensor accuracy on the overall measurement accuracy.
● Deployment duration
● Selection of thermocouple materials
● Selection of measuring joints
● Duravity
● The temperature range to be measured.
● Determine the maximum and minimum range of the temperature, and select the maximum temperature range with a higher temperature range.
● Check whether the linearity of the thermocouple can meet the range requirements.
● Environmental considerations
● Select the correct protective cover material to resist chemical reactions.
● Perfect isolation to resist noise protection.
● Thermocouple should be able to withstand vibration and wear.
● Use proper connectors and cables between thermocouple and measuring instruments.
● Appropriate measurement instruments should be used to give accurate results.
How to choose the right heat suite for your application?

● Select thermal suite material according to the temperature range and use environment (corrosive, oxidation, etc.).
● These wells can be made from different materials, such as SS304, SS316, HRS446, chromium nickel iron alloy, Monaur alloy, ceramics, etc.
● According to the structure of the heat suite (pointed handle, straight handle, cone handle)
● steep knife handle -provide faster response time and lower resistance.
● Straight handle -Very sturdy, but the response time is slow, and the resistance to fluid flow is great.
● Conevant handle -provide good response time and intensity.
● Hot sleeve pipe insertion length
● In order to obtain the best temperature measurement accuracy, the size of the "U" should be long enough to allow the entire temperature sensitive part of the measuring instrument to extend into the measured medium.
● Line temperature measurement: one inch or larger.
● Gas temperature measurement: three inches or larger.
● Vibration resistance.
● Von Karman Trail, which flows across the well, has a determined frequency based on well diameter and fluid speed.
● Thermal sleeve must have sufficient stiffness so that the frequency of awakening will never be equal to the inherent frequency of the thermal sleeve itself. If the inherent frequency of the well is consistent with the frequency of the tail flow, the well will be damaged and broken.
● In order to avoid heat suite caused by excessive stress, resistance, high temperature, corrosion, and vibration, it is recommended to calculate the heat suite of thermal suite based on your application:
● The highest or working temperature
● Maximum or work pressure
● Flow (gas or liquid) speed
● Flow density.
