Type of thermocouple measurement nodes

There are four types of thermocouple measurement node structure:

1. Grounding thermocouple node
2. Unexpected geothermal puppet node
3. Display Display Nodes
4. Isolation thermocouple node


Grounding thermocouple node

The grounding thermocouple connector is a component of the tip of the thermocouple sheath.

Benefit:

● Quick response time related to unscated and isolation connection points.
● Protect the influence of environmental chemicals and corrosive agents.
● Extend the service life of the thermocouple. The service life is longer than the exposed node thermocouple.
● Recommended for high -pressure applications.
● This is the cheapest building.


Shortcoming:

● Thermal expansion of the protective cover material may cause mechanical stress and metal processing hardening due to different components.
● The grounding circuit may interfere with the instrument.
● Insulation failure is more difficult to detect.


Nodes without geothermal puppet
Unde -ground thermocouple joints are electrical and electrical isolation with outer cover materials. Among the double geothermal puppets, a public connector is insulated from the external sheet.

● The thermocouple node isolates to the ground.
● You can detect the defects in MGO insulation by measuring the resistance of the loop to the sheet.
● Long -term drift under cycle conditions is minimized.


Shortcoming:

● The response time is usually slower than the grounded thermocouple.
● It is more expensive than geothermal puppets.


Display Display Nodes
The exposed thermoelectric nodes extend to protective metal sheaths.

Benefit:

● Recommended measurement for non -corrosive static gases or air.
● The response time is very fast, faster than ground nodes.

Shortcoming:

● It cannot be used in environments with high solid content, high pressure, or flowing materials, because the connection is exposed to this environment.

Isolation thermocouple node
When the joints and outer care materials and the insulation of each other, isolates thermocouple connector for double or triple thermocouple.

Benefit:

● Components and ground insulation.
● In the hot cycle environment, its performance is better than unmoving or ground nodes.

Shortcoming:

● The response time is slower than the ground double thermocouple.
