The outer diameter of the heat suite is greater than the inner diameter of the nozzle
A terrible part at the scene is that when you try to install the heat suite in the nozzle, do you find that the outer diameter (OD) of the heat suite (OD) is greater than the inner diameter of the nozzle (ID)? Essence
This simple thing will cause a lot of delays, because you cannot insert some other thermal tubes when they perform WFC computing, material selection, etc.
No one wants this situation, so let's discuss preventive measures and recommendations.
Need to evaluate which factors to ensure that the thermal sleeve is inserted correctly into the nozzle ID
1. A list of nozzle
Even a 1 & 1/2 -inch pipeline will never have the same ID.
The list of pipelines needs to be checked.
Because it is logical, the higher the schedule (such as STD, XS, XXS, etc.), the smaller the available ID.
You can use software like PIPE Pro to obtain size.
2. The bag layer on the hot sleeve tube
Compared with the diaphragm of the transmitter, the heat suite consumes a lot of materials.
Therefore, unless urgent need, upgrading thermal tube material to alloy C-276 or other special materials is not always a cost-effective choice.
Sometimes another choice (depending on the application) is a packet layer on the heat suite.
This also takes up little space and must be considered.
3. Clean space
This is an important consideration to be ignored.
It is very easy to deal with the initial stage of the project, but the same changes in the later stages will have a significant impact.
A typical example is to awaken the frequency calculation, which leads to an increase in the OD of the heat suite base. (Maybe the later process data is modified or WFC is wrong, etc.)
Now, if we have accurate cutting to cut the distance between the nozzle ID and the thermal sleeve OD, it is difficult to adapt to the last moment of this change.
More examples are listed below:-
The heat expansion at higher temperature is a problem.
As mentioned above, it is recommended to cover the thermocouple sleeve in the later stage, which will occupy some space.
Sometimes the pipeline specifications also have a certain timetable, but in order to facilitate drilling, different timetables are selected for the container nozzle.
Therefore, it is best not to take precision cutting to reduce the distance and maintain a certain gap.
Beware of illegal ways
Hot sleeve polishing to a suitable nozzle:-
Sometimes, the on -site personnel will polish the hot sleeve to reduce its outer diameter and make it suitable for nozzle.
This is an unsafe approach. Because this will endanger the integrity of the heat suite design and may lead to disaster failure.
