The installation of heat suite near key equipment

The seemingly simple heat suite requires a lot of consideration in the aspects of awakening frequency calculation and material selection.

Unless it is urgently needed, it is not recommended to install heat suite near the upstream of the pump.


Hot suite installation
It is recommended that the thermocouple sleeve should not be between the entrance of the filter and the pump, compressor or turbine.
In this case, compared with the installation of vertical thermocouple sleeves near such key situations, in this case, it is recommended to install the thermocouple sleeve on the elbow (the error safety hameness listed below).

But every recommendation must have a reason. The following is the factors that make this elbow installed near the upstream of the pump, and so on.


Calculation based on ASME PTC 19.3's awakening frequency did not cover all situations.
ASME PTC 19.3 The response analysis of the heat sucking tube to fluid flow is assumed that the fluid speed is stable.
The velocity of the fluid changes at the frequency of the frequency of the heat of the heating tube.
Thermal sleeve failure is attributed to the exposure of thermal suite to the pulse fluid.
(For example: The heat suite fault was found in the installation of the discharge of the centrifugal pump)
Therefore, if we install a vertical thermocouple sleeve and perform the frequency of awakening, we still cannot guarantee that everything will be ideal.


Is the speed for you accurate?
Sometimes the speed given us may be questioned.
Speed changes caused by the reduction in the production line at the final stage may be ignored.
Please note that area changes will affect the speed.

Therefore, the scheme provided by the process department may apply to higher production line size, and in the later stage, a reducer or wind turbine is added.
This will affect the speed consideration, and it must notify the process department to provide updated speed considerations.


Miscellaneous
When building a bridge, the design purpose of the bridge is to handle the weight far beyond its required.
This is because this can be used as an "safety haun" that can be used as an unprecedented error or factors that must be considered (such as abnormal weather).
Similarly, when installation near the upstream or other key positions in the pump, if due to accidents, the thermocouple jacket can fail and rupture near such critical positions, the failure may be catastrophic.
Just like the pump was replaced due to higher capacity requirements, but the thermocouple jacket was not replaced.
Therefore, it is best to achieve safety and rain for such accidents and install it at the elbow, so that the possibility of failure under pressure is much smaller.
Then evaluate the hot sleeve case (even if it is installed in the elbow) as the vertical shell.
