The temperature sensor in the heating system
Keeping warm indoor space in winter is a matter of course for us. In the heating system and the thermostat, the temperature sensor is used to control the internal heating.
In the heating system, the temperature sensor is used to measure the current temperature. They forward the information to the central control and compare with the target or setting value there.
If the thermostat is set to a certain level between 1-5, it is associated with a temperature. For example, when setting 3, the temperature is about 20 degrees Celsius. A temperature change corresponding to 3 to 4 degrees Celsius every increase or decrease.
The working principle of the temperature sensor is similar. They do not rely on external energy supply, but use materials that react to temperature. This makes their use in the heating system particularly reliable and practical.
In Weilian, we provide a variety of temperature sensors with different sensor components, which can be used for heater and heating systems. The types we provide include NTC thermistor, PTC thermistor, RTD and various types of probes.
Heating system heating resistance
According to the customer's requirements, the NTC sensor can cause different, separate shells. The thermistor provides a fast response time, and the size is very small. High sensitivity can achieve very precise measurement. For the NTC encapsulated by epoxy resin, their average temperature range is -40 ° C to +125 ° C. For our glass packaging heat -sensitive resistance series, the temperature range is as high as +250 ° C.
Many of our thermistor have negative temperature coefficients (NTC), which means that their conductivity increases with increased temperature. As a result, once the temperature rises, the resistance will decrease. One of the advantages of NTC thermal resistance is low manufacturing costs.
RTD temperature sensor
Wilian provides RTD temperature sensors, also known as platinum components. The resistance here increases as the temperature rises. These temperature sensors use RTD technology ( resistor temperature detector ), which can be obtained from the Victorian PT100 / PT1000.
RTD temperature sensor has a lower sensitivity, but it is suitable for measuring different temperature range of up to 500 ° C and higher. RTD temperature sensors are mainly used in industrial fields because they have better long -term stability and higher temperature range. Like thermistor, they can also be cast in different cases according to customer requirements.
NTC temperature sensor and RTD temperature sensors are used to measure flow and return temperature and external temperature.
